This week has taken place the Empack Madrid 2019, reference fair for the packaging sector, labeling and consumables.

Chiasa, for the third consecutive year, has exhibited the extended range of materials for inkjet printing, apart from adhesive materials for industrial applications.

This week, from 2nd to 4th October, the second edition of Lineapelle 2019 took place.

Cristal presented its entire range of standard products and, as a novelty, included the materials manufactured with the new thermoadhesive for various applications in the footwear sector.

At Labelexpo, Emax presented the full range of materials for inkjet printing.

Apart from the standard materials such as paper and PP glossy and matt, Emax has unique materials for this printing technology. These materials are Tyvek, wash-resistant polyester taffeta and water-resistant textured paper for the wine industry.

CHIASA and KING presented their commercial alliance at the Labelexpo fair, effective as of September 2019.

After fifteen years of close collaboration with KING and with the aim of offering the best quality , service and price, both companies will work together, offering a distribution service in Europe, for those customers who want an immediate supply of materials, while also maintaining the service from China, for those who wish to continue importing directly.

The product offer in this new association, mainly focused on garment label materials, with materials such as polyamides, satins, taffetas, cottons, etc. for all types of printing systems.

As new materials, there was launched a wide range of recycled materials, with a growing trend and demand, due to the implementation of these qualities by the clothing brands.

Chiasa has made available to its customers a new range of recycled polyester satin for thermal transfer and other printing techniques. With the launch of these new materials for garment sector, Chiasa wants to help companies achieve their sustainability goals. The new range offers a wide variety of recycled materials; printable one or both sides, matt or shiny and available in white, grey or black.

This week, from 20th to 22th of February, the first edition of this year’s Lineapelle took place in Milan.

Cristal has strengthened its classic range of reinforcement materials for footwear with the introduction of new heat seal materials. These new references are intended for the manufacture of seamless footwear, basically casual footwear.

Last week the EMPACK fair took place in Madrid, where Chiasa was present for the second consecutive year.

Although the number of exhibitors in the Label & Print section was lower than last year, Chiasa closed the fair with very good expectations as it attended more visitors than last year. The majority of visitors showed their interest in new materials for inkjet printers, such as matt and glossy cardboard and new fabrics resistant to washing.
