At the end of January, Chiasa completed the works to expand its facilities that started on November 2014.

At the end of 2015, a part of the production plant already moved to the new facilities. Last week, once all works were completed, the office staff also moved to the new location.

CHIASA is a new member of the National Association of Manufacturers of Continuous Labels (ANFEC), an organization that brings together material suppliers and label manufacturers throughout Spain.

Last May, CHIASA attended the XVII Congress organized by ANFEC. The event, presented under the title “The every day of the new economic model” had a participation of 78 partner companies.

The works to enlarge Chiasa’s facilities that started last November, are progressing according to the planned course. This week, the closing of the new building has been completed. It is expected that within the coming weeks the production department will be moved to the new facilities.

Last November Chiasa began the works to expand its facilities in Cabrianes (Spain). The new industrial building construction, of 5.000 m²,  is triple the area that the company currently has. The end of works is planned for next June.

On the 5th, 6th and 7th of November took place the most important event of the fashion and technology for leather and footwear industry in León (Mexico). Shoe Solutions, like each edition, was present at the fair to introduce their products and innovations in order to satisfy the needs of the companies.

Shoe Solutions will take part at the fair trade event (Mexico). At the fair trade event Shoe Solutions will expose all its products for  the season Spring/Summer 2015: Cristal reinforcement tapes, KB zippers and Trencilo Braided Threads. The fair will take place the next 21, 22 and 23 of March. We’d like to see you!

The next 11, 12 and 13 of March, Cristal reinforcement tapes will take part in Lineapelle (Bolonia, Italia) sharing stand with Flexor, a SBR latex and polyurethane comfort pads and insoles manufacturer. With presence of more than 1000 companies from over 40 countries around the world, Lineapelle is well known for being the most important international trade exhibition for the tannery and leather goods sector, which is held twice a year. The edition of March will present the summer and spring collections for 2015.

Last January, Shoe Solutions took part at the Leather & Shoes exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine, where it exhibited the KB zippers and Cristal reinforcement tapes, with the aim of network the brand to the eastern European countries and understand how the shoe industry works in that area. At the Kiev exhibition, Shoe Solutions ended up consolidating the relationship with a local distributor that in a short time period it will be the trader for the Ukrainian shoe manufacturers, who will have Shoe Solutions articles at their disposal with a quick and faithful service.

On the 6th, 7th and 8th of November the Anpic Mexico was held, the largest event of shoe and leather suppliers. Shoe Solutions exhibited its products with the purpose of setting new business opportunities. The event was extremely successful and was visited by more than 14.000 professionals in the sector, a 3% more than the last edition.
